Beginner's guide to 1-table Sit & Gos
This guide is meant to help players having a hard time beating the micro and low limit 1-table Sit & Go tournaments. Some of the things apply to other tournaments and games as well, but the focus will be on 1-table tournaments.
I'll start by talking about why you should play Sit & Gos at these limits, I can't really talk much about the higher limits since I haven't playd mid to high stakes myself, and things quickly becomes a lot tougher.
After the general talk, I'll go on to describe the different stages of a 1-table tournament and then how a beginner should approach them. If you have a lot of experiance playing these tournaments you'll probebly know all this stuff, and I'll greatly appricialte any additional comments or suggestions. The goal here is to try to avoid difficult situations that I see people getting into all the time in these tournaments. I won't go into a lot of advanced concepts such as ICM and advanced bubble play even though I'll mention it.
This guide should help you get to the $10-$20 level, beyound that, you really have to know proper bubble play. It may differ from site to site, but the low limits are relatively easy to beat on all sites I've played on.
